Size 12

Can you imagine, I was looking in the closet for something to wear today and saw the JCrew jeans I purchased a couple of months ago for when I lost a lot of weight. Still in the bag, and I thought, let's just see how far out it will be before I can wear them.....

I put them on. On. Now, admittedly, they are snug. Probably fit better in a month. But I am wearing them, buttoned, zipped. Size 12. Just wow.

Woo! Great news :D

Yesterday I decided to try on some clothes that people have given me. Clothing is so weird since I'm now wearing pants from size 13 to size 6. :P

Sizing is strange isn't it? I went to Saks off 5th today to look at the pretty designer stuff. I bought one Chloe shirt, but I am trying to keep myself from purchasing much until I know what my size will be... I went to a designer consignment store and did spend $25 on a bunch of things as they were $5 each and I decided it was not much of a splurge. But the blazers were size medium. I just can't believe it as I look the same to myself as before.

i need to go into my closet now with a very critical eye and get rid of what doesn't fit. I'm starting to realize that it's time to stop holding on to what I used to be....

I know, kind of unbelievable when something slides on unexpectedly. It does mean I have to methodically go through my closet and take out all the things that won't fit me. I was not thinking about that, but I have seasons worth of items that simply will not work any longer. Have to ebay some of the designer items, and donate the rest. It's a good chance to whittle down the closet clutter, though some things will be terribly hard to lose....
