Whatcha Eating Today VSGers? Tuesday 8/1/17
Morning VSGers! I have an endocrinologist appointment at 9:20 am this morning. I think he's going to likely take me off my last diabetes med. I just had my A1c done for my 6-month post op visit and it was 5.1. I went for 21 years thinking I had Type I diabetes (and was on insulin/an insulin pump that whole time), so this is very weird for me!

Congrats! I was on insulin as well as Metformin and Glimeperide and off all meds when I walked out of the hospital. That is a huge victory for you!
B- Pure Protein Bar

L - leftover sirloin
S - Buddig Meat
D - Baked Cod
E - Tonight is run night
Stay Healthy my friends, Mike
I love the pumpkin Pie, though it means we are on our way to fall...and I am not ready for fall yet!
Good luck at your appointment! That's super exciting. My labs from my pre-op will be available to me tomorrow at 2:30pm and I can't wait to see the results. First time I've had the lipid panel in a while!
Today should be a walk/run day, but yesterday was a bit more active than I thought it would be and later on I'll be helping my BFF with some heavy duty cleaning, so no walk/run for me. My stamina is definitely a limited currency at the moment. (And as I was typing this my BFF messaged to ask if I'd be up for a walk with her after lunch. She must be psychic. Unclear how much cleaning we'll actually end up doing.)
I slept without my compression garments for the first time last night and it was glorious.
1: protein shake
2: out for Indian! I will likely get a samosa and some paneer curry.
3: leftover night - probably ground beef curry because it's the oldest thing in the fridge. It's a curry kind of day.
liquid and vites: on track
exercise: walk with BFF!

It was super tasty, too! So I'm not sure why there's still some left :P Clearly I should have put some in the freezer for post-op.
Ugh, the freezer. I need to bond with the freezer today too and get it organized for upcoming bulk cooking.
