Approved, but...

I had the same situation. My insurance first approved me for RNY but then I chose sleeve at the end of my waiting period. I didn't have to redo anything except the doctor resubmitted the paperwork. The doctor office called the insurance and they approved it right away. So maybe it won't be a big deal for you either. My switch was a matter of days, not weeks. Good luck either way.
