As soon as you are cleared for normal solid foods.

Consider them like a solid food so basically don't eat them until you are cleared for all foods.

I love them dipped in tzatziki.

I would substitute quest bars for meals in your situation. They have 5-6g net carb each after subtracting fiber, which I do.

Thanks all for the great suggestions! Here's my plan:

1st breakfast (when I get up): Triple Zero yogurt

2nd Breakfast: Powerful Yogurt protein drink (in the car while driving)

Lunch (in the car while driving): Light string cheese & turkey lunch meat

Dinner: Tuna packet (straight from the packet)

*apple slices when I want a crunch

*my plan (not sure why it took a week to think of this!) is to take a few sips out of my Premier Protein Clear drinks and freeze them solid. I will use those to keep the cheese and lunch meat cold enough until noon when I can eat and then drink them the rest of the day (I may freeze water bottles too).

*I spent $20 on a fancy aluminum Contigo water bottle a few weeks ago....totally worth it since it keeps 24 oz of fluids cold for up to 18 hrs....after spending the am in my hot car, I can tell you that my Crystal Light was still as cold as when I filled the bottle that am!

Cheese sticks are fine in your purse as they are vacuum sealed. Ditto the tuna. A single serving cottage cheese would be fine in a purse for while. Is there a microwave for a protein hot chocolate? (maybe not when its 90 degrees lol)

I weigh and measure out 1.5 oz of chicken or meat ham ect. I through them in my cooler bag and take them with me. They should defrost by lunch time if you want to do ham roastbeef ect. Also ALWAYS tuna creations. My all time favorite along with at least 1 shake. All this with at least 4 16.9 bottles of water to hold me till the afternoon. I pack up every day!
