Fine, request granted. I block people without manners. That's the only company you'll be keeping. I didn't ask for, or need your advise and insults. I have professionals for advise. If they decide I need something they will tell me.

Oh ... and this person is not an RNY patient as I just noticed that you are. A VSG patient (like myself) does NOT have damaged intestines (where calcium is digested.)

If you fall down you just have to get back up.

The requirements are clear via ASBMS for both VSG and RNY: Calcium CITRATE.

Also, calcium isn't "digested" it's absorbed in a transcellular active transport process, located largely in the duodenum and upper jejunum; and a paracellular, passive process that functions throughout the length of the intestine.

Carbonate needs an acidic environment to break down and be absorbed properly.

If you read the information on carbonate vs. citrate, it's really a better option to take the "best" option even without altered internal organs.

But again, take tic-tacs for all I care.

Yeah, but do they have any shaped like Wilma, with a vague orangey taste?

No, but Tic-Tacs come in a wonderful orange flavor, and a new cherry cola flavor as well!

I think it's a scam, just like with M&Ms. The flavors are all the same -- they just make them different colors.

Those orange ones are the best. I've had a true love affair with them since I was a kid, a solid 35 years of love of those tic-tacs and my blood work is great :-)
