Almost forgot to do this today...

Diana Ross was awesome last night and I had several inches of room on either side of me in the seat. Woot!

This morning my dad told me I needed to get rid of the pants I was wearing because they were "bagging like you've got a load in there." Ah, Dads. Gotta love them. Guess I can no longer pull off a 1X on the bottom.

Today was a 2.5 mile walk with my dad and about 40 minutes of kayaking. Had to come inside because my sun allergy is flaring up and I'm spotty like I have scarlet fever or something. Attractive.

D - mussels in wine broth (my go to dinner at two of the restaurants we frequent here)

Spent the day with my daddy running around picking up supplies for the shop we are working on..and my arms got a workout constantly loading/unloading his wheelchair in the back of the truck. It is so dang hot!!! heat index is like 106 and it certainly feels it

Ugh, was a hot one today. Felt guilty being in the AC all day while the campers were out in the heat. But heck, they're kids, they can take it! Extreme heat warnings through Saturday evening. I'll be staying home!

First day wearing my new FitBit. It's kind of like a nagging mother, though, when it buzzes you to get up and move lol "Fine, fine, MOM, I'm going!" Surprised myself how many steps I got in since my job keeps me at the desk most of the day. Set a goal for 2000, figured I'd start small, but have 3140 so far!! Woohoo! Guess I need to aim higher...going to set it for 5000 now!
