Well I ended up having a root canal on my front tooth yesterday. I'm so glad they were able to get me in. I'm a bit freaked out because my tooth is still super sensitive. I think that is normal, but if it isn't feeling better tomorrow morning I'm going to call. And if the throbbing starts again I'm going to call immediately.

Food is a bit odd because I don't want to eat anything tricky / hard that would require my front tooth.

B - fit frappe & coffee

L - brought a salad w/ chicken we will see how that goes

S - made myself some yogurt and forgot at home, so hopefully I can leave office ealry & protein shake after workout

D - tbd - have tons of leftover and ground turkey in the fridge

S - cottage cheese & berries

E - crossfit -- we are on a heavy lifting series and I'm LOVING it!

I don't do CrossFit, but I just moved on to the mesocycle for heavy lifting with my trainer and it's so awesome!

In crossfit we always do different things. We just finished what seemed like forever (prob 6 weeks) of what must have been deload and heavy focus on gymnastics and longer metabolic conditioning. I love that we do so many different things at crossfit, but heavy lifting is for sure one of my favorites.

I don't push as heavy as some of the 20 somethings because I'm terrified of hurting myself. But I'm 1.5 years in and my squat is just SO much better than it used to be and that just makes me so happy!

I was at the gym less than an hour post root canal still numb and in pain. Someone said - wow I can't believe you came. Of course I came -- the gym is the place where I destress.

My biggest recommendation to people early in the process is find something that gets you active that you LOVE. I've gone through several yoga, running, crossfit, hockey. I love them all and have different addictions at different times. For me, I would never be where I am (not obese) if it wasn't for being active.

Rant over (or just paused).

I would love to try CrossFit, but our only gym here is very tiny and very expensive. It's literally a 20x20 space and it's always packed. I'm glad they are doing well, but I don't really have a lot of appeal to working out in that environment.

Morning all:

Slept better last night which makes me happy and it feels cooler all around so a lot more comfortable. It's weird to feel hot and cold at the same time these days. Always a bit cold after surgery but in the extreme heat parts of my body still get shweaty.

Yesterday, again, was a successful food day. I love it! 15.8K steps, 115 protein, 20g fat, 25g carbs. I love it when it all seems to come together.

Today may be sketchy. I'm going to the final showing of Wonder Woman at my fave theater. I haven't been to a movie in a few weeks. It'll be a while until I get my copy from amazon. I might take some cherries with me instead of having gelato and blowing my streak.

AM: Egg Nog K-cups with Van PP

L: Chicken Breast with spring mix, Avacado, HB Egg, & cottage cheese

D: Chicken Breast, Cottage Cheese, Hummus

Walk when no clients

Water & Vites

I used to climb up in a neighbors tree as a kid. now its all about the Rainiers. I eat them like a pig from the first time I see them 'til they're gone!
