Oh. And to add - prior to this recent surgery I pretty much had a shake for breakfast 95% of the time because I have never liked, even before VSG, having solid food in my stomach first thing in the morning. So a shake is a compromise between having breakfast and skipping it. :)

But, yes, no worries. I'm 3.5 years post-VSG and the multiple shake thing is due to current special cir****tances. :)

Morning all,

Due to changing winds the smoke from forest fires in BC has moved in a different directions and it's a lot less smoky/hazy/smelly outside. Still an air quality warning in place so not sure if I'll go out for my walk or use the treadmill. Did better with my calories yesterday which makes me happy. Weirdly, I'm going through a 'cold all the time' phase that hasn't happened since year one. Happily, a sweater fixed that!

BTW: has anybody tried the new Tang water flavoring? I am so enjoying the orange pineapple flavor. The original orange flavor is like childhood brought back. Makes me smile.

B: coffee w/ cream&sugar, HB egg, small can flavored tuna

S: homemade protein shake: almond milk/Syntrax caramel macchiato protein (LOVE this stuff!)/plain skyr/strawberries/flax meal

L: leftover chicken Greek salad from McDonalds

S: protein shake, likely same as above. Maybe some extra tea or coffee

D: BBQ steak, some kind of salad-y veggies, goat cheese (so good on steak)

Liquids: 2L water for sure, various coffee/tea/

Exercise: 30 mins on treadmill or miles outside

I'm going to the beach today since it's going to be hot and humid.

B ham and cheese omelette and string cheese

L ham and cheese slimwich and baked potato chips

D spaghetti meat sauce and zucchini zoodles

D egg salad made with cottage cheese is really good and cucumber

Yesterday ended up being leg day. Even after a lot of stretching, my hams are sore today. We started on trying to build muscle in my inner/back thighs where they are still woggly. I'm hoping if we build a bit more muscle back there, it will increase fat burning in the area. Worth a shot. Got all my steps in too.

I made something new. I took some HB eggs and put the yolk with avocado and habanero sauce. Ended up being pretty tasty with a little kick!

AM: Carmel PP with Egg Nog & Pumpkin Spice K-cups

B: Yogurt

L: Chicken breast and chicken cilantro mini-wontons

S: Strawberries & Cream PP

D: Chicken Breast and asparagus

Water & Vites

Hi everybody! Work is much less stressful today, so grateful for that! Tonight, I plan to go visit one of my former foster pups and see how much she has grown since adopted almost 5 months ago. She lives in my neighborhood, only about a mile away and her dad and I are Facebook buddies, so he invited me over tonight. Can't wait!

B: Chocolate Premier/black coffee

S: scrambled egg with a little sausage/cheese

L: confetti crab salad, 1/3 c., 1/2 c 1% cottage cheese

D: confetti crab and cottage cheese combo again

S: Triple Zero Oikos Greek strawberry yogurt

Water, walking, vites/supplements on tap.

Have been gone off the menu thread for awhile. I know when I am having a rough time is when I should be posting. I tend to isolate instead of socialize, some behaviors are harder to change than others....but am working hard on it.

D-Not sure yet, dinner out before Mah Jong game. Probably order an omelet only.
