I think I like the idea of single kayaking. Unlike canoeing, you're not at the mercy of some other dumbass tipping you and causing you to nearly drown (been there, done that!). If I ever get my upper body strength where it would need to be, I might give it a try!

You totally should, Kathy! I have pathetic upper arm strength and it wasn't hard at all, though I think I will be feeling it tomorrow. And I never felt like I was going to tip. This one is a sit-on kayak, which I like because I didn't want to get stuck with my legs inside if by chance I tipped over...

Well.. it wasn't me who would have posted this morning :P I slept super well last night for the first time in what feels like forever and, as a result, I ignored my 6am alarm and slept until 8am. Yay! Sadly this means that I didn't get out for my walk before the oppressive heat and humidity set in, but I have a plan to go walk around the mall after my appointment with my therapist today. Then I'll grocery shop on the way home so I can cook dinner tonight.

And, of course, I have school work. My second class started yesterday. It's "how to be a college student" and looks like it'll be a cake walk. (Protein bar walk?)

1: protein shake
2: protein shake or bar - I'll take a bar in case I need to eat before entering the Grocery Store of Temptation
3: stuffed salmon with sriracha cream sauce, ride for dude

liquid and vites: on track
exercise: brisk walk around the mall - aiming for 1.5-2 miles

I wondered why so far out you still have protien shake for two meals? I was curious as i thought by this point ( and at your amazing weight) that most people would be atleast on real food for dinner and lunch ?

I'm in a weird place because of reconstructive surgeries right now. I have a higher protein requirement but food isn't super appealing and, due to the muscle tightening, I have more restriction than I did two months ago. So I'm doing two shakes a day in order to meet my protein requirements.

Prior to surgery 6 weeks ago, I was doing a shake for breakfast and solid meals for lunch and dinner.
