Whatcha Eating Today VSGers? Friday 7/14/17
USPS was supposed to deliver my t shirts yesterday. Even at 11:53 last night they claimed yesterday delivery. It happens every single time with them. Grrrr!
Moving day is tomorrow finally. I stopped last night and got several salads from a salad place we like. I got a separate container of croutons for my honey. I found I was picking at the croutons, so I got the roll of packing tape and wrapped them up lol. It worked.

I've done that kind of thing with food before. Poor stuff on them, wrap them up, trash them. Sometimes we just have to white knuckle it, eh?

I just had surgery Monday, so I'm on full liquids.
B: Protein shake. Used Unjuru Choc Splendor with nut milk. They make this new Protein Nut Milk that has 2 gr sugar and 10 gr protein. Love it!
L: Veggie broth with some liquid aminos...adds a salty flavor.
S: Water with fresh lemon and mint
S: Crystal Lite
S: Protein shake
D: Protein shake.

Morning all. Going to be another hot, hot day here with smoke still drifting in from the forest fires so I will be singing the praises of my air conditioner and whispering sweet nothings to it as it makes life bearable.
B: coffee, HB egg, left over steak and salad from dinner (only 1.5 oz)
S: Homemade Protein shake
L: not sure, going out, so likely some sort of Italian salad (probably caprese) and of course, rich Italian coffee
S: another shake or some plain greek yogurt with strawberries
D: greek salad no dressing and 2 oz chicken
Liquids: 2 litres water plus lots of coffee and tea
Exercise: 30 mins on treadmill or outside if I can get my butt in gear before it heats up too much

Caffeine doesn't actually dehydrate you - but it's a well propagated myth that it does!

Some good abstracts. I still would not recommend replacement of water intake. Also, my practical focus is more on the effects of increased caffeine intake. So I always consider limiting caffeine due to effects it has on anxiety, insomnia and potential contribution to increased blood pressure & tachycardia. Also, caffeine has a half life of 3 to 7 hours, which could be problematic... And too much can contribute, and I have seen this, to psychosis.
