I would so trade for 60 degrees...heat index is 105 here too! I am so tired from these long nights and not sleeping well again..feel like a zombie today. I have been surrounded by junk food and high carb meals at church all week and am so proud that I have stayed on plan. I just wait and have a shake when I get home. Last night though they did have some string cheese, so it was nice to have a snack with the group.

Vitamins in. Water on track. It's super hot, just taking it easy before bible school this evening.

Back in the office today, putting out fires...

Really cooked for the first time since the move last night. I ate too much - not enough to be uncomfortable, but more than I planned. I've never felt like I have a huge restriction, I could do 8 oz. without a problem for months now. Been trying to ratchet down on my food, but I'm not sure why I didn't follow through last night. :-(

Not losing any weight, even with a ridiculous amount of exercise - I've walked 15.5 miles since Sunday. I feel like I should be closr to my doctor's goal by now.

B: protein shake

L: 4 oz spiced up chicken with some broccoli slaw and riced cauliflower with sesame ginger vinaigrette

S: protein shake

D: ???

E: 80 flights of stairs

Your body is getting used to all that exercise. You may have to up the ante. Are you lifting? Maybe you need to switch it up?

Sadly, you can't out run (or out walk!) a bad diet. So the answer to your question is in your post - you need to "ratchet down on my food." That will get your closer to your doctor's goal.

(But I'm sure you know this!)
