Its obvious that eating healthy is key.

But I have heard certain foods excel-orate weight loss some foods can slow it down though they are allowed.

I wondered after all the phases and your doing normal eating, what key foods do you eat that you feel help you lose weight faster than say eating lots of potatoes lol.

I know protien first, so some key foods maybe chicken?

What else?

I would like to make sure the staple foods are in my house ( i am in uk and still can not find a low fat string cheese!)

Thanks

Meat and eggs. Eating very low carb is the fastest way to lose weight.

fat is not the enemy. Carbs are the enemy of weight loss.

Meat beef, chicken, pork fish eggs and full fat everything.

I completely agree fat is not the enemy but unfortunately my plan says low calorie low sugar low fat hence why looking for low fat string cheese. 3grams or less per 100 grams of fat is what they say I should be aiming for.

My mum is a nurse and also said I should do full fat everything , but its hard for me to know if I should ignore my team on this?

If my team had told me low fat, I would have ignored them.

I would ignore my team on this. They are wrong.

I eat high protein, low carb, and I don't care about fat. I don't think there are any specific foods that accelerate loss, but there are definitely foods that slow it down!

I post every day to the "What're you eating" thread here. So you can read my meals there. Right now I'm recovering from reconstructive surgery and need a lot of protein but, at the same time, don't feel like eating so my meals are boring.

Today it was:
1: protein shake
2: protein shake
3: chicken in the slow cooker

When I'm not recovering from surgery my meals are more like:
1: protein shake
2: protein from dinner a previous night
3: protein + veg

typical meals that I have:

Tiny pizza (I make pizza on a 6-inch tortilla ... so its like a personal super thin crust)

cup of cottage cheese w/ sunflower seeds

a single hot dog w/ cheese

a single chicken tender

Hamburger (no bun)

Sausage patty

2 eggs

protein shake (of course, lol)

.... as you see these are all protein heavy and every meal is about 200-300 calories (thereabouts)

If you fall down you just have to get back up.
