Good morning all!

Today is my 5 month surgiversary. Thanks to my weird daily losses this week, I lost 12 pounds this month! Best month since my first post-surgery month.

B - coffee and yogurt

L - protein shake

D - crab cakes and asparagus

S - whitefish

Good morning. Happy 5 month surgiversary! 12 pounds is downright amazing. My loss is creeping along. I did lose a pound. 184 today. I've started getting the annoying questions of when I'm going to stop losing. People are so intrusive and rude.

B: coffee and yogurt

L: finally eating the last of the turkey tacos with lettuce wraps. Gosh, leftovers last a long time now.

D: no idea. Trying to eat out of the freezer before the move, so it looks like salmon and cauliflower might be on the menu.

S: yogurt

I agree it's annoying when people start telling you to stop losing, or that you're wasting away. Don't listen to them. If you need to respond at all, tell them you and your doctor have a healthy goal in mind and he/she would be the first to tell you if there were concerns. And that you feel strong, healthy and amazing.

They have no clue what "enough weight loss" is plus maybe a little jealousy thrown in if we're now smaller than them or approaching that. Especially if you've always been the biggest in the room. Keep on rocking it!!!! You do you.

Surgery: April 30, 2014: HW: 288 SW: 250 Achieved Goal 149 lbs: April 8, 2015 CW: 158 lbs (working on losing 65 lb regain as of June 1, 2021. Weight was at 215 lbs). Fighting every darn day!

Morning :) It is super dreary here in Chicago. It actually looks like night time outside... I was hoping to go for a run at lunch but I think I could get stuck in thunderstorms, so I probably will have to stay inside (boo!)

B - fit frappe & coffee

L - meatballs w/ pasta

S - yogurt w/ strawberries & protein shake

D - hubby has some surprise planned (hoping for sushi)

S - cottage cheese & blueberries

E - crossfit & maybe something inside at lunch

Congrats on your loss! That's great.

I had a super bad night last night and it took me a few hours to get to sleep since I could not get comfortable. I ended up trying to lie on my stomach and actually fell asleep there. First time since surgery! Woo!

Today I'll be heading over to my bff's house again to help her clean out her MIL apartment so it'll be good to get activity and bff-time :)

3: oh crap, I'm doing chicken in the slow cooker tonight so I need to make sure I remember to get that going before I leave! Since I'm pressed for time I'll use ground ginger and garlic. Oops.

Morning all, hope all are well.

Lots of smoke in our area drifting across the mountains from the British Columbia forest fires, plus overcast, so it makes it one of those 'blah' days. Feeling a little pi$$y too, due to PMS. Some days you know you just shouldn't talk to people, right? That said, I hope it subsides as I drink my coffee and I will get a bunch of errands done today.

B: coffee with cream/sugar, HB egg, small can flavored tuna

S: Homemade protein shake, Tim Horton's coffee with milk/splenda

L: 1/2 Wendy's side garden salad (no croutons), cheese string, turkey pepperoni cut into it

S: cheese string, cucumbers, tzatziki for dipping, maybe mini protein shake to top up protein

D: some kind of salad, no dressing. 2 oz chicken

exercise: walking on treadmill

liquids: 2 litres water plus all my coffee/tea

Hi All,

I lost a few pounds this week - mostly the weight I gained at Disney the week before. I was doing good until last night, when I threw caution to the wind and ate a lot of humus and wheat thins... sigh.

But I'm back on track today...

breakfast - Salmon

lunch - chicken with artichokes and sun dried tomatoes

dinner - chicken with spicy peanut sauce

snack - hopefully none, but may have a 4th meal of orange chicken

Meetings all morning on Wednesdays and tomorrow I'm interviewing again, so I'll be late posting again! Today I have a farewell reception for one of the folks that work for me. Last night I saw my trainer for the first time in 19 days (because of minor surgery and then vacation), and I'd lost 11.5lbs since I was there last!

D: Guac and Salsa and Taco Dip (I'm going to protein up the taco dip, but I'm having a thing at my house so this is what is being served).

S: Premier Protein and Coffee

E: None today, because of the reception and then thing at my house. Hoping to get in a walk/run tomorrow.
