Hope everyone is doing well today!

This top part can be hard to write when most of my days look the same - good, but the same...

B - coffee and yogurt

L - protein shake

D - mussels (ended up cooking last night instead of going out. Mussels will be tonight instead)

S - leftover Parmesan whitefish

Good Morning, everyone.

Not new to the boards but never really posted about my food before, mostly because I don't plan beyond 2 meals, however, sharing is caring so...

B: coffee, HB egg, cheese string, cucumbers

S: protein shake: almond milk/syntrax vanilla latte/1 big dollop plain Skyr/2.5 oz strawberries/cinnamon

L: 1/2 greek salad, no dressing, 2 oz chicken (I seem to have lost my taste for salad dressing, so weird)

S: Tim Horton's XL steeped tea w/ milk & splenda and 2 cheese string, or, cold coffee protein shake

D: other 1/2 greek salad, maybe a small can flavoried tuna or some chicken. Peppermint tea later on.

Water: at least 2 litres in addition to the morning coffee and all the tea I drink

Exercise: Excessive heat here yesterday with Severe thunderstorm & tornado warnings and today mostly rainy so not sure if I'll get my walk in or not. Nice to have a break from the heat,tho.

Back to work after a nearly 2-week vacation. I wasn't really ready to come back yet. Sometimes I wish I had chosen to teach as a profession. I have a massage scheduled tonight and I'm looking forward to that!

Massage day is always best day. I gifted a massage with my therapist to Art and he's going tomorrow and I'm ridiculously jealous. I scheduled my July massage for as late in the month as possible due to surgery recovery so it's not until the 28th. On the one hand, I desperately need one. On the other hand, it's not like I can lie on my stomach right now anyway. :P

I had trouble finding someone. My normal person is out of commission due to knee replacement surgery (she actually had WLS a couple years ago and now is moving on to fixing other problems). She was supposed to be back by June 8th but then ended up out longer due to some mobility issues.

I got a recommendation from a friend and when I contacted that woman she had gone out on maternity leave the day before. I finally found someone and by the time I did it was right before vacation. So now I'm finally going. She specializes in Myofasicial release, which I don't know a lot about. But, she told me it's a 90-minute visit for the first time. So woo hoo!

Ugh, I'm sorry! Sorry to hear about your normal therapist's troubles!

I hope that this new person is awesome for you.

It took me a while to find my therapist and I'm so glad I did. We've got a Massage Envy in town, but I knew that wasn't what I wanted because a lot of the reviews said that it was hard to see the same therapist every month. So I found an independent massage therapist who also offers a monthly subscription option which is amazing. (I knew I wanted to be able to see the same person every month so that they'd be able to get to know my body - that was important to me.) It's been just about the best gift I've ever given to myself :)

Good morning!

I'm off to a rough start today. Everyone in the house, including me, neglected to take my garments out of the washer which means I had to rewash them this morning and figure out an alternative to wear when I go out. I am cleared for 12 hours of no-garments a day, but I'm not mentally prepared for that yet. I'm wearing some arm sleeves I got from amazon, which are actually surprisingly comfortable. I'm also wearing some Bali shape wear for my abdomen but it's not very compressive which isn't great. So.. I'm not sure if I need to reevaluate before I leave the house. :/

When I do leave the house, I'm heading over to my BFF's to keep her company while she cleans her house to prepare for a longterm houseguest. I'll help as much as I can, but she insisted she really just wants moral support.

1: protein shake
2: protein shake or bar - I'm taking both so my BFF doesn't feel obligated to feed me
3: pakistani kima, rice for the guys (I'm going to do the cauliflower substitution the recipe calls for)

Hi everyone, I am down a few pounds, and feeling encouraged in my effort to get back on track. Breakfast - salmon Lunch - chicken with sun dried tomatoes and artichokes (yum) dinner - orange flavored chicken on a bed of spinach - (also yum!) My software is pulling all the carriage returns and extra spaces out of my posts, so its all running together - even if I edit it again to put them back - Any ideas why? sorry the post is hard to read... Carol

Greetings all! I'm excited because I finally lost a pound. I've been hanging out at 186 for several weeks. Had a busy weekend preparing for the big move. Still not ready. Five days till liftoff.
