Anyone have VSG done in Tijuana recently?

I have been researching for months and I have determined that I am ready to make the life change andhave VSG done. I am actually extremely excited about "breaking up with food"! I am ready to enjoy life again. My question is who has had this surgery in Tijuana? Who did you use? What are your reviews/advice?

One of my BFFs just had RNY (they do VSG also) at A Lighter Me in Tijuana w/Dr. Ortiz. She has nothing but good things to say about the experience, and she's doing great.

I had mine last August with Trinity Medical in Tijuana. I absolutely wouldn't hesitate to go back again for plastics when that time comes. I'm down 140 pounds in 10 months, that says a lot!

A word of warning: your surgery alone will NOT change your emotional relationship with food. Surgery works on your stomach, not your head. Many of us find a healthier relationship with eating after surgery, but it's by no means an automatic breakup.

I have joined that group. I understand that surgery alone won't fix it, thus the reason I said I am excited to break up with food. I know exactly what has to be done. I have a game plan and I am ready for the life change, also knowing this is the hardest thing I will ever do.

I am scheduled in Tijuana on 8/15/17. I can hardly wait to find my old self!

I am having my surgery with A Lighter Me in August. I have a friend in the healthcare industry who had hers done there and she's doing great so it makes me feel comfortable to have mine done there too.
