i am two pounds away from a really big milestone. My highest weight was 289. I lost quite a bit on my own, and then the liquid diet pre-op also helped, so day of surgery I was 209. Means I lost 80 pounds before VSG. But now, I am 191, which means when I lose 2 more pounds, I will be at 100 total pounds lost. That's huge. That's amazing. That's happiness inducing. Of course I will lose more. But I am ecstatic to see that number approaching. I have not weighed 189 since I lost pregnancy weight after my older son was born 25 years ago.

HW 290. Start weight 229. Day of Surgery 209. Month 2: 190. Month 3: 182. Month 4: 174. Month 5: 164. Month 6: 159. Month 7: 153. Month 8: 147. Month 9: 145. Month 10: 142. Month 11: 138 Month 12: 137. Month 13: 139 Month 14: 131. Month 15: 130. Month 16: 131. Month 17: 128. 162 pounds lost!!
Two year anniversary upon me in 3 days: 136. Need to lose a few pounds..
How wonderful! I hope you're really proud of your success so far! And I hope that you don't find your big milestones are like mine - I feel like I ALWAYS crept for like a week or two before every big milestone. Losing would be going along smoothly, I'd get close to a goal, and it was like.. okay, time to lose .1 lb a week :P

It's official today. 189 on the scale. Tho my highest ever weight was 290, I consider 289 my high weight, and today, I am emotional because I am below 200 as of a bit ago, yay onederland, and 100 pounds down. I never thought I would get here again. Still more to go, but I am savouring it.
