Whatcha Eating Today VSGers? Monday 7/3/17
Thanks for getting us going today! Hopefully it'll be a bit.. calmer. Super exciting about your interview! I hope that it goes well and that you find time to prep for it between now and then!
Today should be a lovely day since we're all home! Art has off. Lance decided to work from home since it didn't make sense for him to drive three hours to work a half day. I've got to get my weekly reading done for my class today but, aside from that, I don't have a lot planned. I should be able to get completely caught up with Game of Thrones tonight and I'm looking forward to that!
My Thursday is also exciting because I've got my followup with my surgeon. I was thinking, this morning, that I totally understand why people always recommend, "Fix the areas that bother you the most first" because, sheesh, after going through one round of reconstructive plastics it would be very easy to throw up your hands and say, "Nope! That's it, I'm fine the way things are!" I'm definitely looking forward to my next two surgeries being easier than this first one.
1: protein shake
2: probably another protein shake
3: whatever the guys provide - Art went shopping for a few things yesterday and picked up extra pasta and sauce, so he might do some chicken parmesan today. There are also leftover roasted potatoes which might mean meatloaf! (They're still working through the stores of food I froze pre-op and supplementing those with take away. I need to think of different things to bulk cook and freeze prior to my next surgery, because they're probably going to be sick of the things I made this time around.)
liquid and vites: on track
exercise: nope. However much I'd like to take a walk, it's not going to happen until I get rid of this low level cold/congestion/cough that's been plaguing me. Going outside just amplifies it, so it's got to be allergen related.

Oh! And I took measurements today! Well, most of my measurements. I'm not going anywhere so I opted to skip the bust/chest measurements. I'll do those tomorrow when I have to wear a bra.
The changes are amazing.
Waist 36.5 to 30
Hips 43 to 41
Thighs 24 to 22, 24 to 21.5
Just about the knee 20 to 19, 21 to 19.5
Arms 14 to 10.5, 13.5 to 10.25
w00t!!
I dredged up my original measurements. My waist, back in March 2014, was 50 and my hips were 59.5. Wow.

Thank you! I'm super glad that I didn't stick to my original plan of "reach impossible goal weight before plastics" because I realize now that my body would have had NO stores to pull from to heal itself. So it'll be neat to see where my body goes between now and the end of the year with two more surgeries scheduled.
