Another related diet question, what's the feeling about salad? I had a leaf of lettuce and a slice of tomato today for the first time post op. I previously loved salad, justvegetables, salt and pepper and occasionally a little feta or walnuts. But the VSG change has me confused. The lettuce and tomato had a little salt and pepper, nothing else. Are we okay with that after VSG? Would have had a second leaf or slice of tomato but definitely not pushing things. Protein was one piece of beef sirloin that was grilled, about 1x1x1 inch cube.

You have a very small stomach and you need to maximize every bite you take for the best nutrients for your body - you're not going to get that from salad.

For actual fast food, Wendy's grilled chicken sandwich is good. Ditch the bun, and the chicken, if I recall correctly, is 27 grams of protein and 130 calories. You can't do any better than that.
