We had an uneventful drive to MD, outside hitting rush hour traffic going around Baltimore. I'm glad to be stationary or a week, and not need to drive for a bit!

Random morning musings, but it seems like since I've hit 125lbs loss and greater my body is melting. Before that point, I could pinpoint exactly what I wanted to be nipped and tucked and now every day I look more like a shar-pei every day. Even when my weight isn't changing much, my skin is getting looser. These last 10lbs are going to do a number on me!

Don't worry about the Shar-pei straight away. Given a little time, your skin will shrink some. The only places I worry about are my inner thighs and abdomen. I had a TT about 15 years ago before I had WLS. My regain after the WLS probably did more damage than my gain prior to. My arms truly never winged, and are decreasing. Erin, enjoy the melting point. It's a pretty awesome spot!

I had a large loss prior to WLS (90lbs, but had some regain), so I had plenty of loose before this and it never really bounced back. I can't wait to get a TT! I don't have bat wings, but that's partially because I have hit the gym HARD, as the arm surgery grosses me out so bad for some reason and I'll never have it.

Went out to dinner last night at a nice restaurant. I admit I got a little sad when everyone else was scarfing down Caesar salads which I love while I drank water, but I knew I wouldn't have any room for my entree if I had one too. I had the appetizer steamed mussels in a garlic/wine broth. So delicious! And I ate two of the small pieces of grilled bread it came with, but I'm not sorry. Those were heavenly and I gave two big ones away and left 3 big ones. I also had two very small bites of my dad's oatmeal cookie brownie with ice cream. I should have skipped that because it wasn't as good as I anticipated and I was stuffed after. But I was down 1.2 lbs today, so I don't think I did any damage. And I crossed the 70 lb lost mark, which felt like a bit of a milestone!

Ugh, up three pounds today. I ended up having a Real Good Pizza last night for dinner. It's loaded with sodium so I'm sure that's the culprit. Gotta chug water today to flu**** out.

B: coffee and yogurt

L: tuna mixed with low fat mayo, sugar free relish and walnuts on lettuce wrap

D: the salmon that would have been a better choice last night

S: yogurt

A friend of mine mentioned that she hadn't intended to get breast augmentation and then, bam, her boobs deflated almost overnight with a few extra pounds of weight loss. I'm still dead set about augmentation for myself, but I sometimes feel like the same thing is happening to me!

Today is a school work day for me. I have reading to do and then writing for my discussion post. Interesting topic this week. Sadly I way overslept and didn't wake up until 10am, so while I'm feeling rested (yay!) I'll have less time (boo!).

1: protein shake
2: protein shake
3: whatever the guys provide, I'm hoping I will do some meal planning this week and get back to cooking on Sunday or Monday. Last night they heated up chili but I just had more tarka dal from lunch.

liquid and vites: on track
exercise: didn't get a walk in yesterday, hopefully today.

I liked the taste and it was satisfying, but my spouse calls the ricotta bake "ass cement" (for it's effect on my digestion...).
