It's been 10 years!
Hello all, it's been 10 years since my surgery and I thought I'd check in! All is good in my world. I weigh 119 pounds and life marches on! I can't say I still don't struggle, I went up to about 140 and then put the brakes on. I have heartburn, gas, and still get that horrible feeling if you eat too much sugar, but all in all, it's been the best thing I've ever done. My advice to you, is be kind to yourself and each other. Life is short. Love is Love.

Big congrats to you! Thanks so much for sharing too.....it's important motivation!!

I hope you're getting the heartburn checked out by a doctor. Esophageal cancer is no joke!

You look fantastic at 10 years out!!! You are such an inspiration to us newbies. What did you do to get back on tract and lose those extra pounds. I started to creep up at 2-1/2 years post op. Only by 6 lbs, but I don't want it to become 10, then 15 . . .!!! I know its all about mindful eating now. Thank you and again, you look great!
