How long will i be out of work

I went back after a week, but I could have sat at my desk by day 4 or so.

I would not have been able to get actual work done since I do complex math for a living, and I certainly was too foggy-brained to contemplate attempting that.

I went back to work on the 6th day. I'm a teacher so I had to make sure I could stand on my feet for at least 50 minutes at a time before going.

I took 2 weeks off completely when I had my VSG, then worked from home for 2 more. That was more than enough time for me.

I had surgery on a Thursday and was back at work on Tuesday. All depends on how you feel. I also have a desk job.

I run the storeroom at Ohio Edison and lift up to fifty lbs at a time. I have no idea how long I need to recover before returning to work. I am a one person department also! Does anybody else have a physical job?

I have a physical job. I do active security work. Lots of talking, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, lifting and near constant motion. Breaks arent exactly predicatable and sitting is rarely an option. I am scheduled for 2 weeks out. Will probably do 3. I am at day 7 today and know i could not do my job for more than maybe 30 minutes, even if i didnt lift anything. My biggest struggle is i wont be able to keep water on me at work and am struggling to get anywhere near clear pe as it is. I have alerts on my fitbit going off every 20 minutes to remind me to drink again.

Thank you so much. I had my surgery yesterday. I feel amazingly well. I'm thinking I'll take 2 weeks off and work a bit from home.
