I hope nobody minds I started this today. I'm up particularly early, so thought I'd add my 2 cents before work today! Supposed to hit 93F today here in mid-Missouri...and so summer is officially here! A new batch of campers arrived yesterday, so another new week of fun for me! I hope everyone has an amazing day.

Yesterday didn't end up as mobile as I had hoped. I had already had 115K steps since Monday, so I went slug for Sunday. I had a DQ Blizzard, too... Took a good nap and watched four hours of 600 pound life. Some of them aren't so frustrating or depressing. I took a nap in the afternoon. It was a decent recovery day. I'm going to make more of that Salsa Chicken this week. I really enjoy having some mexican flavors in my daily routine. Maybe I'll make it without the sour cream and use greek yogurt instead...
Yesterdays #'s: Calories-1768, Fat-89.1g, Fiber-9.3g, Carbs-187.6g, Sodium-1232.9mg, Protein-72g, Water-2,366.4ml. Daily Calorie Composition: 41% from carbs, 43% from fat and 16% from protein.
AM: Remainder of yesterdays coffee (got busy and forgot to drink it)

Good Morning fellow VSGers! Hot day here too ... welcome Summer! Besides work today, therapy. A tough night sleeping, anxious and worried, looking forward to chatting. Focusing on calorie intake today. Yesterday I was super active but my calorie intake was the highest since surgery. Yikes! Have a wonderful day everyone.

I went to bed late last night because when I went to crawl into my bed I realized there was a BAT in our room. I consider myself to be a pretty independent woman but nope, nope, NOPE. After I screeched like a little girl and went running out of the room I sent my husband in to deal with it.
Last night the kids wanted me to go on a bike ride with them. I think I hate riding a bike. I try, I really do, but I just don't like it. My husband has been riding a unicycle (think, mountain trails type not the circus type) and can ride it for 7+ miles straight. I am running 3 days per week and lifting 2-3 days per week and somehow I can still feel inadequate.

I have attend a friends funeral today. It completely slipped my mind about needing new dress pants since the ones I have are way to big. I'm just gonna have to wear one and pin the sides. I work from home so my wardrobe mostly consists of Capri's and pajamas. Other than that it's going to be a hot one again here today.

Hey everyone! Very trying weekend and I almost am glad to be back to the routine of work. I am proud of myself that I didn't respond in the way I have usually done in the past when the stress monster visits, and that would be by eating a whole pint of ice cream every day until it passes. Yay, me! Hope you all stay cool and have a good week.
