Eggs are my nemesis. I love them but 1 egg makes me so full for no reason. I can't even combine them with other meats. I sometimes can do a 1/2 oz of cheese. Given a large egg has 6g of protein they aren't very efficient. I sometimes eat them for dinner if I know my protein is covered for the day anyway.
And it's not just my stomach size. I can eat 2-2.5oz of dense protein (chicken, steak, pork, etc) and really, aren't eggs supposed to be a soft food?!

Eggs are a real pain in the ass. The first food I had on soft foods was a scrambled egg, 2 bites and I was so full I thought I was going to die.
Didn't touch them again for months.
I like my eggs poached, fried or omelettes.
I decided to scramble some today just to change it up, but eggs don't fill me up anymore. They haven't since about 12 months.
I would but them in the same category as salad greens, a slider but a good one.
Useless. This is why I never eat breakfast food for breakfast, useless calories.
Anyway it will be time for my first lunch soon enough.

My acid reflux is really been bothering me today. Even my carafate hasn't helped much lately. I see my surgeon next week for my 9 month follow up and I think I need to approach the issue of what my next step should be about this acid reflux since two PPI's a day isn't helping and now the carafate isn't much help either. I'll admit it's hard to stick to a bland diet too. I went back and looked at my medical record prior to surgery and saw the upper GI results that said " no acid reflux noted" and compared it to the one from this past March when I started having problems and that one reads " acid reflux extending in to the distal esophagus." I fear revision is my only answer now.
