I get in around 64 ounces ...it seems a lot harder today with eating a little...will probably need to do a protein shake to supplement

I have the burning regardless if i ate or not. I find yogurt coats my stomach and decreases the burn. Also my dr gave me milk of magnesia that helps but i can't stand the taste...

I have had it since i had surgey 27 days ago. Haven't been able to switch to soft foods due to the burn.

I went to a bariatric meeting at the hospital yesterday and some patients that were 7 weeks post op still had the burning just less intense.

I hope you find something that works. Feel better soon.

Sorry to hear you're still on liquids...surgeon thought food would help. I didn't do very good with my protein goal since starting softs either....not sure how it's going to go when I'm back at work Monday?

Are you taking a b-12 supplement? It could be that.

It does that to me and I had to experiment with times of the day and after meals.

Yes...when all of this started, I stopped vitamins because I've always had such a problem with them. I feel this started when I took a second vitamin Sunday night on an empty stomach and has not been taking the carafate for a few days.

Im hoping to restart everything in a few days
