Whatcha Eating Today VSGers? Thursday, 5/25/2017
Ugh, what a long night. We're on vacation and one of my kids came down with a stomach virus. I got about 90 minutes of sleep and was at the 7 Eleven at 4am buying bleach. I'm guessing my food today will be sparse, but I promise I'll keep up on my water at least. I never eat well when my kids are sick, it's one of the few times pre-surgery that I'd drop a good amount of weight in a short time!
I will try and get in a protein shake or two to compensate if I need to.

I set my alarm for 7:30 and intended to get up and run. I got up, went to the bathroom, my body said "everything hurts and I'm dying," so I went back to bed :P I did my old standard wednesday fitness classes of Pilates and Yoga and, omg, my body is mad at me! (Mentally, I feel great about this!)
Today will be a lovely day. I've got lunch with a friend and then I need to pack for Hamilton! Can't wait.
1: protein shake (I'm mixing my flavors up a little because I know I'll be using more shakes than normal post-op and I'll want some variety. I opted for Syntrax peanut butter cookie this morning and UGH, I'd forgotten how sweet it was and why I gave up on it in the past. Glad I only ordered 2lb.)
2: bonchon chicken strips
3: beef stroganoff, egg noodles for the guys
liquid and vites: on track
exercise: gentle yoga

Yesterday was an 'off' day. Just didn't feel right. Took the afternoon off work, and today. Feeling overwhelmed. The weather is so beautiful in the mornings, I'm tempted to take a quick trip to San Diego just to take a road trip.

Good morning, everyone! This week started out slow, but now seems to be flying by. That's alright by me, as I am supposed to have a week's vacation next, but since it would only be a "staycation", I am really trying to talk myself into working Tuesday and Wednesday, thus giving me one 3 day weekend and a 4 day weekend next one, so I can save a little annual for later in the year. We shall see! :)

I agree with Cecily, seems like a rough start to the day for most. I hope everyone's day improves. I know we are supposed to live in the present moment, but tomorrow is a chance to start over!
The wind was so bad yesterday that there were moments I was actually scared, my dog hid behind a chair for a few hours. Still a little windy, but the sun is peeping out some. Going to try and be creative today and do something with an ugly gate.
