What to take to the Hospital
Totally. The hospital will provide you with everything you NEED and from there it's just a matter of some entertainment - for which you won't have that much time :)

A pair of really baggy comfortable shorts that I could sleep in and be ready to take a walk at any time. That way I was not worried about the back of my gown being open. Robes do not work well because of the IV.

Goal reached at 10 months
I actually just wore 2 hospital gowns. The 2nd gown acted as a robe so I didn't have to worry about the back of the gown being open.
Kindle
Phone and Phone charger
Lip balm
Face Wash, exfoliater, moisturizer
That's it.
Pillow for the ride home stayed in the car, never went in the hospital or I would have burned it.
Hospital is about 50 minutes from the house, wore the same clothes home that I wore there, I was only in them about 2 hours anyway.

I used 3 things out of the 30 I brought during my stay: (1) Pair of baggy, easy slip on pants to walk in; (2) secure shoes to walk in; and (3) deodorant.

I brought 2 pairs of underwear but ended up staying in the hospital for 5 days. So most days I didn't wear any but was wishing I would have packed more.
I brought my own water because I knew I wasn't going to want to drink the water that the hospital provided.
I washed my hair the night before surgery & didn't put any product in it. I looked crazy but I was so miserable for the most part that I didn't even care. I did bring a ponytail, comb and brush though.
Toothpaste, toothbrush, soap & deodorant. The hospital did supply those things but I always like to stick to the brands that I use.
Extra outfit if you don't want to wear home what you wore to the hospital.
