Recipe ideas for the Blended\Puree Stage
I'm almost 2 weeks post op, and have lost 19 lbs so far. Really excited by that.
I'm looking for different recipes for this next stage. The thought of puree'ing my chicken and vegetables squicks me out big time.
What did you guys cook or come up with?

I didn't have a pureed stage in my plan. I went from liquids to soft foods. For me, that did include pureeing soups, but other than that, there was nothing I was allowed to puree. The other foods I was allowed were scrambled eggs, cottage cheese, mashed potatoes, yogurt, SF pudding, and the pureed soups (both broth based and cream soups).
Oh, there was one more pureed thing...cream of wheat/cream of rice/or oatmeal that was pureed to ensure no lumps (I didn't eat them as they were too carby).
Not sure this helps you much but maybe an option or so you didn't have. Good luck!
I cooked things that are wet normally and then pureed my portion. I loved pureed stage after 4 weeks of liquids!
I did chicken curries, meaty spaghetti sauce, chili.. lots of other tasty stuff that I can't recall and my blog is down so I can't check! But those were the big ones.
