Whatcha eating today VSGers? Saturday, 5/20/2017
Today is my graduation party which means my eating will be off plan. I'll make the best choices I want to make - I'm providing most of the food, so there are lots of great protein-forward choices!
1: protein shake
2-3: appetizers
liquid and vites: YES, I'll be on track
exercise: nope, unless mom and I take a walk after the party
How about you?

Food in Italy isn't quite the same as Italian here. They don't actually eat pasta at every meal. You'll find an abundance of meats, seafood, cheese, salads, and veggies. You'll probably find that a lot of menus have options with no pasta, so it probably won't be hard at all. Antipasto platters are always a great choice--meats, cheese, olives, salad, etc.
Have a great time and don't stress, I think you'll probably find it easier than you think to stick to low carb. Arrivederci and buon viaggio!
It'll be super easy to eat meat in Italy.

You can totally avoid bread and pasta. There are a lot of wonderful fresh greens. Meats are great, jus****ch out for the non traditional - horse and burro were offered to me once. They didn't ask again! Some of their seafood was a little scary too. Pizza is great. Eat the toppings. ENJOY!!! And watch out for all the fizzy water!!!!
Trying to get motivated today but having a difficult time lol. Need to get to the orthopod for cortisone shots in my knees, the new job has me walking around camp a lot!
