surgery coming up and scared

My personal experience was that the liquid diet made me feel sick and cranky. Food either smelled FANTASTIC! or DISGUSTING!

I didn't sit with my family while they ate, and they cleaned up after themselves, so I wasn't handling food/leftovers. I walked the dogs while they ate.

I very much wanted the surgery. That said, I was nervous, because "Hey! Surgery!"

I was scared and nervous. I made sure my living will and final will were in order. I made funeral arrangements. After surgery the fear seemed silly.

It was over with quickly and I felt fine.

The weeks before surgery were the hardest for me.
