Missed posting yesterday because I got distracted..well actually got the crap scared out of me.. I stopped to get gas and when I tried to get out of the car apparently my blood pressure dropped and I don't know if I fainted or what, but when I came to my senses I was on the ground. Twisted one ankle and cut my foot, nasty bruise on the other foot and knee, so I am hobbling around. Pulled myself up and wanted to punch some girl who was laughing at me. Had my 5 month checkup today and BP was 100/70.I was down another 12 lbs for a grand total of 103 lbs..this week (May 19th actually) makes 1 year since my first consult. Gonna keep an eye on my BP and be more careful when changing positions.
B premier chocolate shake
L grilled chicken pieces with buffalo sauce
D pork chops
Vitamins in. Doc says increase the water! Not even trying to exercise with my legs aching.
Holy crap, that's super scary!! You're not taking any BP medications, are you?
I've had to go through the whole orthostatic hypotension thing. I've seen a cardiologist, gotten my veins checked out, etc. His recommendations for me were to build muscle, wear compression tights up to the waist (yeah.. no), and increase electrolytes. I work on the muscle and the electrolyte part. And pumping legs before standing to get that mechanical pumping action going for veinous return.

I don't take any BP meds. I had a couple dizzy spells a few months ago, but this time was the worst. It just hit without warning. Once I got back up I noticed the tunnel vision and my ears ringing. My BP has been running low since surgery, but doc thinks dehydration may have exacerbated it. I seriously thought I was drinking enough, but the temps have been in the mid 90s this week and I have been outside more, so gonna be very mindful of my fluids now. He also told me to take my time when getting up from a seated position and give my body time to adjust.
Be safe and take care of yourself! Make sure to get sodium in your diet too. :)

Exactly..I was embarrassed but at the same time really wasn't even sure what had just happened. I just dusted myself off, pumped my gas once I got myself together and got outta there.
