No weight loss in 2 weeks
It is very common to hit a stall at approximately 3 weeks post-op.
What do you mean by "minimal?" How much liquid and protein are you getting every day? Are you measuring everything to ensure you at least try to get enough? It is very critical to get your liquids in every day. You take a chance on getting dehydrated, which can be very bad.
Water/fluids are number one, protein is second these first few weeks. It's normal to only be able to take a few sips at a time, and I know I had to literally drink all day long to try to get my 64 oz in each day. I didn't make it at first, but by the 3rd week I was able to do it...it was really hard but necessary.
I am guessing your body is fighting right now. So it is holding onto everything it can. Water in means fat out. The protein makes up for the "food" our body is looking for.
Ittle stalls are usual. But you MUST get more fluid in, and you must get your minimum protein and vitamins.
Keep after it.
