My hell week is over! Happy Mother's Day! I got a fantastic homemade necklace and a coupon book today! Going to take the girls for pedicures before our vacation.
I had a half a Quest Protein bar yesterday and they are filling. I hadn't had one since I was maybe 8 weeks out so I figured they might not do a lot for me, but I was surprised! I also did end up walk-running yesterday for 30 minutes. So I got in 3 days of running last week! I'm up to 40 seconds at a time!

I woke up before everyone else this morning so I could get some things done. I'd hoped to run, but pain is still a thing. Hopefully Tuesday. I did, however, do yoga for the first time in what feels like forever, so I'm super happy about that!
Today will be a lovely and pretty free day. I've got meal planning for the week and planning for my graduation party, then I'll need to grocery shop, but aside from those things I'm FREE.

Easy day for me. I am not going to the gym today, but will probably go for a walk with my grandma around the lake by my house. Ducks and geese and a crane congregate there and I take a head of lettuce with me when I go (I read that bread is awful for them, so I switched to lettuce and they gobble it up just the same). The geese are so forward when there is food involved! They all sit at my feet and I can hand feed them, they're so cute. Then I will take my grandma to lunch.

Meal 2 - Probably going to a Mexican Restaurant, I'll likely try and order just off the side order menu and make my own little version of a taco salad (they might think I'm insane).
Meal 3 - Babybel light cheese and some roasted chicken breast
Meal 4 - Premier Protein (Loving the salted caramel).
Snack - Quest protein BBQ Chips. (I go between hating them and loving them.)

Missing my mom today Hugs to all who've lost their moms
So happy to have no scheduled stuff today - I have lots on my to do list. Going through my clothes to sort by sizes, replacing a thermostat, fixing a few sprinklers, changing two toilet flappers, laundry, cleaning my junk room if I'm still motivated, etc.

I bought a size 22 Jean capris yesterday. This is still crazy to me. Before surgery I was pretty much busting out of a size 28. I'm wearing them right now and I still don't believe it.

Happy Mother's Day! I took my mother and father-in-law my wife's grandmother and our family to breakfast this morning. I have a ball tip roast in the smoker right now for later on this week. My sweetie wanted atomic buffalo turds for this evening.
B 1 egg with green Tabasco sauce, one bite of crummy sausage and 2 pieces of over cooked bacon.

D Atomic buffalo turds! Bacon wrapped jalapeno peppers stuffed with cream cheese that is mixed with Arizona Gunslinger habanero sauce and topped with smoked pulled pork. I will smoke them with apple because I have it but I personally prefer Jack Daniels oak barrel chips.
Thanks! I should also mention that the ball tip roast is actually 2 of them. I had them in a kosher salt, brown sugar and habanero brine since Wednesday. I made a dry rub using kosher salt, brown sugar, hot smoked paprika, garlic powder, chili powder and cumin. Those will be amazing!
