It's Friday! Yay! I survived my stuff yesterday and, just after midnight, my final grade for my classes post, so I'm happy to share that I have successfully completely my AA in Exercise and Sport Science with a 4.0! This definitely falls into the category of "dreams I didn't even know I wanted to dream" from my pre-op life. There's no rest for the wicked, though, and I've got a very busy day planned. Morning fitness classes, a quick shower at the gym, my monthly massage, my plastics pre-op PCP appointment, and then grocery shopping before getting home to hopefully have time to read before I need to cook dinner. Reading, for pleasure, it's such a great thing :D

Due to this running around, my food is a bit weird.

1: protein shake
2: protein bar
3: cod, potatoes for the guy

liquid and vites: on track
exercise: all the fitness classes! (pilates/yoga hybrid, tai chi, pilates)

I'm working today 7:30am - 10pm, so it will be a strange day. Made stranger by leaving my lunch bag at home . Luckily we are having meat trays delivered for lunch/dinner. The biggest bummer will be that I won't have my shake until I get home at 10pm. I'm not sure I'll leave having to drink that at the last minute.

P.S. My Aria scale already kicked the bucket and I have to either decide to return it to Amazon and with with the Withings scale or warranty replace it with them.

Drinking a shake after you get home seems suboptimal, I agree. Can you add more meat instead before you leave work?

Crazy your Aria died!!! I've never heard of that happening! I love the Withings scale, but tend to recommend the Aria because it seems like everyone (and, literally, their mother) has a Fitbit these days. I don't, so Withings is good. (And the Aria didn't exist when we got it.)

I will try to add more meat! It's not going to kill me if I'm lower on protein for a day. I'm actually getting in a bit less than minimum requirement per my plan with my meals. I won't die, either way I guess!

I don't have a FitBit either, I use an Apple Watch!

Big Congratulations to you Gwen :) That is super exciting!

I'm headed to my parents out east tonight. My mom is finally out of the wheelchair, but still hobbling on crutches. They are adopting one of our pups. My husband just finished the 15 hour drive to get him there. My son and I are flyinh out tonight. We get to teach him to swim and how to eat steak off a fork this weekend. Its a good thing his brothers here dont know what they are missing b/c my parents dogs have THE LIFE! I'm looking forward to a quick trip home and a visit to my old pup Leo -- everyone I get now I have to cherish.

Food today si a bit up in the air due to travel and business:

Day 13 of stall. Will work on getting water today, since I have been having a hard time fitting enough water into my life lately. I work tonight, so will probably drink all night as well.

B: unflavored protein in coconut/almond milk

S: 1/2 quest bar

L: Edamame pasta (2oz) with 1tbsp pasta sauce and 1tbsp nutritional yeast

D: poke or sushi with rice picked off

Seems I've stalled out again after about 2-3 days of dropping 8 pounds, but I've still lost inches so it's still going in the right direction. With all the walking i'll be doing next weekend at a music festival, I'm hoping for a big loss.

Happy Friday, everybody! Got to go by a rescue friend's place to pick up adoption event kennels and supplies tonight after work, so definitely going to get a upper body workout with that. :) So glad the event is only 3 miles from my house and later in the afternoon tomorrow, so I can get my errands and housework done in the morning. Hope you all have a great weekend!

B: last of Joe's special (ground round, spinanch, eggs, little swiss), broke down and had caffeinated coffee with sugar free vanilla creamer today...I was a mess from yesterday having to go with a friend to euthanize her foster dog and felt like a zombie when I got up this morning)

L: Chicken breast strips (grilled with mesquite seasoning), 1/2 cup sautéed peppers onions zucc and tomato

D: Salsa crockpot chicken, 1/3 avo chopped, 1/4 c. taco cheese, 1/4 cup tomatoes chopped

S: watermelon, if needed
