Hello all new guy here
Hello all. I am just starting my journey to a new me. I have always been a little heavy and nothing ever seemed to work to take off the weight. A little background on me. I am married with 2 kids. And work all the time. I have a full time midnight job in a factory and own a bbq business as well as being a volunteer firefighter and EMT. I keep very busy. Well back to my WLS story. I started back in Feb after going to a company sponsored health fair. I made an appointment with my pcp and she thought it might be a good idea. So she ordered up a sleep study which came back as apnea positive. So I decided to look around for a program and went to a couple of seminars. I have found one I like and had my initial consultation with the surgeon this past Monday. He said I could be ready in about 3 months but I am waiting until October. Also my insurance covers very well and has very few exceptions.
