At 5 weeks out, it's possible that you're running into the notorious "hormone dump." Our bodies store hormones in fat cells, and when you lose a lot of weight very quickly, it all goes flooding into your system at once. For women it's like a killer spell of PMS, and from what I've heard from other men here, it can certainly leave you feeling out of sorts as well.
It's also entirely possible that the enormity of your lifestyle change is really hitting you right now. Lots of people here work with a therapist to addresses the changes surgery brings, and it can be hugely helpful.

I was definitely getting the blues around then. I'm sure hormones were involved, but mostly I missed my "friend" food, and I missed how easy eating was pre-surgery. It was a frequent topic of discussion with my therapist (I admit to crying a few times in her office over it) and I'm happy to say the feelings have passed (I'm 11 weeks now).
What Julie said. Hang in there.
