Yesterday ended up being an great day! My voice teacher told me about an amazing "local" production of Jesus Christ Superstar and, much to my surprise, both the guys were willing to go with me and my mom too! So I now have tickets to see it in early July! I'm also seeing Hamilton in NYC at the end of the month - so two musicals in one year is a Big Deal for me. I used to love seeing them, but don't really get to at this point in my life for various reasons. And the best part about seeing shows now? Being comfortable in the seats :D

Today should be straightforward. My last Statistics exam is this morning and then I'll spend the rest of the day prepping for my last Anatomy lecture exam and working on my Art Power Point. I've also got mental therapy in there. Woo!

1: protein shake
2: protein bar due to being out
3: super meaty bolognese sauce, pasta for the guys

liquid and vites: on track
exercise: I had planned to run, but I still have foot and kidney stone pain, so I'm going to do some yoga. I really NEED to get back in the habit of exercising and it sucks that pain is preventing that.

How about you? What are your favorite musicals?

I put on a jacket this morning that I haven't worn since last spring and found a pocket full of Andie's Candies! My former self is still trying to thwart me. I dumped them on my husband's desk and ran! The jacket is also much too big!

B: Dannon L&F and Babybel

L: Taco Tuesday (shredded chicken, cheese, salsa & sour cream)

D: Pork Chop

S: Premier Protein

E: Still one more day off and then I'm hoping to be back at it tomorrow.

It's raining here again today big surprise. On top of the walking challenge join at work I also joined a track your activity challenge. Yesterday was the first day of tracking and I felt really good tracking my 1.5 hours of cardio until I saw that someone else claimed they did almost 5 hours of activity. This challenge is totally on the honor system of tracking but 5 hours is a lot of cardio activity. Kinda made me feel like I'm not doing enough. I'm still gonna do my best and track everyday regardless. I do like that my company is really proactive about helping employees try to be healthy.

B: 2 hardboiled eggs, coffee

L: 3 oz grilled chicken

D: found left over ham in the freezer from Easter so might have 3 oz of that or taco Casserole

S: protein bar.

E: 30 mins cardio if it is raining otherwise walking

I think they must not have a life right? I get in 60 minutes 4-5 days per week of cardio (and I'm actually cutting that to 30 minutes on the days I'm doing interval running now). I also do 3 hours per week or so of strength. I think I'm a pretty active person!

Today is an exercise rest day for me - I did 2.5 hours of foil fencing last night and I need to recover.

Breakfast was a piece of leftover frittata with spring vegetables and cheese from Sunday night.

Lunch - probably tuna salad in lettuce. Working from home today so I have options.

Dinner - Pork chops

Snack - probably Oikos Triple Zero.

Gwen - I saw Hamilton in March. It is a truly transformative experience. Make sure you have tissues - you will be bawling at the end. I'm dying to see Hello Dolly with Bette Midler - going to see if I can get tickets before her run is done.

Keep on losing!

There will be plenty of kleenex, I'm sure! I'm finally at the point where I'm not crying every time I listen to it, but all bets will be off when I see it live. :)

Yesterday was still a bit of a struggle to shake off the carb monster, so I ate a few of my protein bars last night. My mind is mad at me. But I know this will level off. I made a HUGE ribeye steak last night, and will use it for the next couple of days to get the carbs wrapped up.
