Drum roll please....I'm in the 160's! Yay! My goal was 160's before 5/19 so I made it early. Next small goal is under 160 by 7/17 (my 6 month Bari center appointment). I'm hoping if I can make that goal I can talk to the center about the best way to start to approach maintenance. Adding 50-100 calories per wee****il I maintain I guess?

I think we're going to take the kids to see a movie today. We were going to go to the drive in last night but it was closed due to flooding...because it's still cold and rainy...still.

B: Dannon L&F w/ PB2 and Babybel

L: Turkey w/ Laughing Cow and Cheese

D: Either left over burger from yesterday or leftover salmon

S: Premier Protein and maybe a handful of popcorn

E: None. Dealing with some pain...

Beat me by fewer than 3 minutes! I deleted my post.

Way to go on the weight!! Congrats!! The advice I think is best is to increase daily calories by 50-100/day per wee****il you maintain, yes. For some people it's better to add a meal instead of increasing the meal size you have been eating, so it might take some futzing.

I really hoped that I'd passed my kidney stone in the night but, sadly, no such luck. RAR! Oh well. I've had a slow start to my day - nice leisurely lie-in at the hotel while Lance went off to run a half marathon. I think I got the better end of that deal. He's back to the hotel now and, in a bit, we'll head home and go out to see Guardians of the Galaxy 2. Busy day of stuff with the guys and preparing for my last lab exam that's tomorrow morning!

1: (my fingers started typing protein shake automatically) hotel breakfast - suboptimal eggs and a sausage patty
2: maybe a bar, but I'm thinking I'll skip this due to meal timing
3: dinner at Silver Diner - I'm considering the lamb meatballs!

liquid and vites: on track
exercise: nope - too busy and too pain

I wanted to die after 2 days of kidney stone. You are made of sterner stuff than I am!

For what it's worth, I've been getting them since I was 12 (so 28 years now) and they're just sort of a fact of my life. If they were a rare occurrence, it would be a lot worse and the first few definitely had me in the "omg I'm dying" camp. "Thankfully" since they're so frequent, I'm more aware of the warning signs and can stay ahead of the worst of the pain so that I don't get to the "omg I'm dying" stage.

They suck and I still wouldn't wish them on my worst enemy.

I can't imagine 28 years of frequent stones! What a terrible thing to have to get used to. But it's a testament to our adaptability (and pain management) that you handle them so well!

Hopefully it passes soon for you. I've been lucky enough to not have one yet ( knocks on wood.)
