A scrambled egg never tasted so good!
Had my one week followup and had the staples removed. Doc said I looked excellent and the nutritionist said I can move on to stage 2 diet. I came right home and scrambled an egg. OMG it's delicious. I missed having to chew food, lol.

Make sure you measure how much egg you're eating. One egg is roughly 1.5oz (3T) and that might be a bit much for someone immediately out of surgery. You won't feel any sort of "full" feeling immediately post-op so you won't know if you eat too much.

It was a medium egg and it took me about 45 minutes to eat half of it.
If you think that was amazing, try it with havarti cheese and green enchilada sauce.
I STILL love scrambled eggs (but didn't really care one way or the other pre-op). They taste great and fill me up (what's not to like)? I scramble mine with cottage cheese (who knew that cottage cheese melts?).
