Whatcha eating today VSGers? Thursday, 5/4/2017
It's Thursday and a happy, although busy/long, day for me! Yesterday I secured my A for the term in Anatomy lab (I'd done this for lecture on Monday) so now all I need to worry about for the next 7 days are my Statistics class and Art Appreciation! Woo! (I'll still take the final exams in Anatomy lecture and lab next week, but my prof drops the lowest test so they're unnecessary which means I don't need to study.) I've got a choir concert this evening and I think the choir is going out to pizza afterward, so I have no idea at all when I'll be getting home.
I almost forgot the best part about yesterday! My college finally posted their fall 2017 course schedule, so I was able to schedule my third plastic surgery!! Woooo!

Well, the yoga class yesterday turned out to be a flop. What I thought was an abbreviated Hatha yoga class was actually more like chair yoga with 15+ minutes of meditation and 15 minutes of seated stretching. It wasn't bad or anything, but I wanted real movement. I guess I'll need to rethink my timing for when I can fit in a yoga class as that's the only one available right now during the lunch hour.
My weight had been pretty stagnant for 2 weeks, and now it's melting off. Down to 172.2 this morning and I think I might make my goal to be under 170 by the 19th (when we leave for vacation).

What a drag about the yoga class! (Although I'm glad you tried it.) I've found that yoga and pilates classes are SO variable around here. They're extremely teacher-dependent. When you have options of instructor, it's fine, but when your options are limited it can really suck.
Yay for your weight dropping! I'm in a weight bump right now due to medication, pain, etc which sucks. But.. it'll come back off. Eventually.

I'm tired. It's been a long week at work. I have a hockey tournement out of town this weekend and next weekend we are going out east to visit my parents, so I think I'm a little stressed about my lack of chill time for the next couple of week.
Last night I was super tired and considered not going to the gym. I went and a friend of mine want to just lift, so we adjusted the workout to just lifting. I think it was a good idea to skip the cardio, but now I'm still super sore. Arg. I'm not good at taking days off. I probably should just chill or do yoga tonight, but I know realistically I'm probably going to do the full workout. It's odd -- I'm not doing it compulsively to lose weight. I'm doing it compulsively because I love it, but I wish I could be more logical sometimes.
Food:

L - maybe wonton soup otherwise carrots hummus, grapes and salami

D: brussel sprouts, chicken, leftover rissotto (finally the end of this!)

I've actually sort of fallen off my exercise wagon which is annoying. I have a kidney stone and most movement is agonizing right now but ARGH. I want to be doing something and it sucks.

Hi everyone! Up a pound this morning. I've got to get off the every day weigh cycle. It is not my friend. My trend is downward, but only when I weigh once on Monday and once Friday. That middle of the week stuff can sometimes be for the birds. I think the Italian sausage (chicken) had a bit too much salt in it, so will eat it sparingly the next few days.
B: Banana & Cream Premier
L: 3 oz pot roast, cooked baby carrots (about 10)
D: same as lunch, going to be on the go for a meeting at 6pm.
S: 1/3 c. 1% cottage cheese, 1/3 sliced strawberries
Water: doing better. hit 75 oz yesterday
Walking: 40-50 mins today
Vites: with me and will get 'em in.
Looks like the storms are rolling in earlier than expected..hope everyone stays safe. Feeling grumpy and tired..haven't slept well this week..keep having dreams about my mom..I really miss her. It's been a year and a half and I'm just feeling emotional about it this week.
