I'm absolutely suffering in this department. I am 2 years out now, and I still don't eat what I should. I am ready to make a big change though and go back to eating what I did right after I could eat solids post surgery. I really need to up my protein and cut down on the carbs.

B- Black tea and nature valley granola bar

L- cup of soup and a slice of bread

S- protein bar

D- pork chops and broccoli

S- sugar free popsicle

I remembered to take my multi-vitamin today, which is awesome. AND.... I back slid on the soda, and have been drinking it like crazy for the past year. Today, I cut it out of my diet again, and sticking to water and tea.

State of emergency declared here in Missouri due to all the flooding. It's really bad in some areas. The town of Valley Park on the Meramec River is being evacuated. Interstate 44 is closed for long stretches in several places. Praying for all those who have been displaced or lost property and homes. Thanking heaven for my good fortune that my family and friends are all safe and sound.

Thanks, Rachel!! I have an appointment in St. Louis on Thursday (2-hour drive), I really hope the interstate is open by then. It was hard to get the appointment, I'd hate to have to reschedule!! Fingers crossed!

B: sausage, shrooms and onion. Mmmmm!

L: chicken enchilada. Surprisingly low carb at 16.5!

S: 3/4 refried beans with habanero sauce. I love spice! Even my 7 year old son loves spice. He had a piece of ghost pepper jerky the other day and you could see him light up with it but he LOVED it. I wouldn't let him have a second piece until I knew how it reacted to him. He was perfect.

D: 2 leftover bacon wrapped shrimp, bell peppers and onions with garlic, 1/2 cup of refried beans with sour cream and salsa.

My sister went to Hawaii and sent us "numb nuts" from a store called Donkey Balls. They are dark chocolate covered macadamia nuts with Hawaiian chiles. She knows my love of spice! I had one tonight and it was dang good

I also got 90 ounces of fluids but that will most likely increase to 120 here shortly.

premier protein banana cream shake & 1/2 chocolate sugar free pudding cup

Sonic diet green tea w/ mango and lemon

Sonic jr cheeseburger (meat & cheese only) - threw the bun away

P3 protein pack - cheddar, turkey, & peanuts

Panino prosciuttto - meat and cheese - 2 pack

1/2 cup cottage cheese 4% w/ 1 tbsp duke's mayo w/ salt & pepper

water w/ mio

coffee, vitamins, cliff bar, banana, latte from Timmies, left over steak, Spring roll, burger patty with greek yogurt potato salad, later I had another small patty and salad (second dinner), Protein bar and lots of water!

Just to put this in perspective I am 9 years out and am 147lbs. Yesterday I ran 5km, did a heavy weight back workout and was challenged to do 10 minutes of Burpees, I did 61! I am very active!
