I'm back from Spain with a broken arm. - its a long story, but i'm recovering - sleeping a lot and wanting to eat for self-comfort. I am only maintaining on plan because I can't drive to buy junk food!
My hubby has to help with the cooking, so I am trying to keep things simple.
Breakfast - salmon
lunch - chicken thighs in thai peanut sauce - yum
snack - humus and crackers - my only comfort food
dinner - chick and broccoli casserole - yum
I hope you are all well and succeeding with managing the obesity. its not easy, but we can do it!

Well, yesterday, I barely ate. Had to push protein in the evening. I need to make more pudding.

I'm sorry you are in pain :( I hope it simmers down soon.
I had a good therapy session yesterday. It is interesting how different my husband and I are professionally. My job has been stressful the last couple of weeks. I've always pushed myself proffessionally and this is the first time in my life that I really am not looking to move forward. I don't want more responsibility - I want to be able to go home at 4 or 5. I also have a really hard time saying no. It is really important to me to deliver value and good quality work. Figuring out how to manage the stress is an ever evolving challenge.
I'm also struggling with late night snacking. I'm working with a nutritionist who is trying to help. I guess that fact that I'm aware of it and trying different things to fix it is a good sign. My weight is still relatively steady since late Jan. I'd like to lose 10 lbs or so, but I think I want to get my stress and snacking under control before I really push for that (honestly getting them under control will prob result in a switch to losing if I don't adjust food during the day).
Food today:
B - fit frappe & coffee
L - veggies & hummus, salaim, grapes & crackers (unless I decide to go out -- stress reducer)
S - yogurt parfait, protein shake
D - leftover chicken pizza and salad
S - trying to listen to my body protein, carb, fat -- rather than mindless grabbing of the usual. Thinking carrots & hummus + apple & pb2... but making the decision at the time
E - crossfit
Follow up with my surgeon went well. I'm down 51lbs since the day of surgery and I've been released to do the rest of my follow ups with the Bari center. Next visit is at 6 months in July. I'm hoping to be at their goal for me by then (160) but we'll see. That's another 15lbs or so still.
I'm starting to look forward to my vacation coming up in a little over 3 weeks. We leave 5/19 for Outer Banks, NC. We'll stay there for a week and then come back to Prince Frederick, MD for a couple of days before heading home. Right now it looks like I might be driving home and leaving my husband down there (his job is based out of of Fairfax, VA). Not looking forward to that part.
B: Siggi's yogurt, PB2 and Babybel
L: Tacos (meat, cheese, salsa, sour cream)
D: Ahi Tuna
