Lower abdomen sensitivity - 16 days post-op

just wondering if lower abdomen sensitivity was normal or common. I don't know how to describe the feeling other than saying my skin feels extreme thin. So anything that rubs gives a scraping sensation.

I asked my doctor about it but he talks about constipation, even after I told him I'm not having any issues with that. I gave up and decided to come and ask you all. It's nothing that unbearable, just uncomfortable. And it's below all of my incisions..

I had that after my c-section and to a lesser degree with this surgery. I was told with my c-sections it's due to the nerves in the stomach being cut/stretched/moved around. It did eventually go away but it took a good long while. Mine almost felt like a sun burn without the burning.

I am having that same feeling on the area above my incisions. I am two weeks out from surgery. I agree that it seems that it is nerve regeneration and hopefully it will go away eventually!
