Weird observation - hair edition

Someone on YouTube explained it like this...and I think of it every time I shave lol

if you have 10 trees in a 100 acre forest it doesn't look like a lot of trees... but if you put the same 10 trees in a 1 acre forest it looks like a lot of trees.

Losing the hair on your arms - idk about that

but I can relate to having to shave more frequently now.

That cat BTW looks like my twin...at least when I'm done shaving.

Funny follow-up:

I saw my surgeon today and I said, "So my arm hair fell out..."

His eyes got wide and he said, "In 15 years of practice and seeing thousands of patients I have never heard that once... until the guy who was in here right before you!"

What are the chances that he'd never heard it before and two patients within 20 minutes of each other had the same observation!?

He attributed it to the same mechanism that would make head hair fall out - a break in the cycle of hair growth brought on by the stress of surgery and drastically cut calories. But that was my laugh for the day!
