Unsupported?

I didn't tell anyone except my immediate family and one close friend beforehand. I work around a lot of negative people. Anything they don't know about, they just say "That's stupid!" I had made up my mind, and my Doctors agreed. Who needs to listen to everyones comments anyway? I worked with a girl who had weight loss surgery and it's the only thing people would talk to her about. They questioned her constantly. I knew right then that if I did it, I would keep it to myself. Just tell people," Maybe so, Maybe so" Then go ahead and do what you want.

I work at an acute care hospital....that being said: playing hockey is dangerous, firefighter training is dangerous, feeding the cat is dangerous, driving a car is dangerous etc. AND, these patients will never be the same.

Throw that and all the other great input from my cohorts at the nay-sayers!
