Good morning! I can't run this morning because the club that I stupidly agreed to help with has a meeting, but I'm hoping I might be able to run tomorrow since I'm also unable to run this weekend due to travel. We'll see!
I've been reading in the plastics forum that pineapple enzymes (bromelain?) can help with swelling and pain post-op. Has anyone tried this/heard this?

It's kind of like Friday today for me. I have to be responsive to work tomorrow, but I think it will be super mellow being Good Friday. Work has been so busy -- its actually wonderful. Interesting work, minimal drama and the time flies. I hope this continues.

Yesterday was better than Tuesday. I got to exercise. I did legs, but my right knee (the one that has hardware) was pinching, so we had to do some switching up when the hip sled started making me feel like I had a needle poking inside my knee... I didn't do as much cardio as I wanted because I wanted to feed the furr kids, get them out, and get some food myself before yoga. Food for me didn't happen. Yoga was a blessing, but I had a lot of discomfort and was frustrated with that. I'm a bit of a secret perfectionist, so when I can't get poses well, it frustrates me. I understand whey they call it a practice.
I'm thinking about changing my job again. I hate working for people with sticks up their asses. They treat my CMA, who is like a mini-me, like dirt. We really work well together. it's an uptight town in the midwest with a lot of uptight views. They'd really be up the creek if I were THERE working! But they never say 'nice job'. Always, 'you shoulda done this','don't do that'.
Yeah, yesterday was a day of emotional satisfaction.
Stayed up to almost 9 making crack chicken. Hope it's good.

It's been one of those "those mornings". Kids and myself running behind. I almost walked out the door without my water, vitamins or my work out clothes. Luckily I caught myself and rushed around to get them. I had to drop kid #2 and her birthday brownies at school this morning. And I have a nagging headache that mass amounts of water isn't touching.
Going to lunch today with some co-workers, so I'm not sure what I'll have yet. But, it will be protein forward.

Had an interview yesterday for a part-time job I really want. Not feeling good about it--had a computer test at the end that they didn't tell me about, and I had a lot of trouble seeing the screen so it took me longer than it normally would have. Didn't realize until I got to the car that it was because I was wearing my regular glasses and not the computer glasses I use at home (and would use if I was working). Aaaaarghhh. Oh well, nothing I can do about it now but cross my fingers.

Impulse purchase alert! I ordered an Instant Pot after hearing everyone rave about it. Hope it turns out to be a good purchase! Any ideas for my inaugural use tomorrow night?

I used Nom Nom Paleo for my first Instant Pot recipes. Although I can't remember specifically which one I made first. Probably her Kalua Pig.
