To be honest, this is the hardest I've ever worked at losing weight in my life! I've never exercised more; weighed, measured, tracked, researched or cared about what I ate more than I do now. So as far as I'm concerned, this IS the hard way lol

I always agree with the "easy way out". I tell the easy believers that I went in, had surgery and woke up 100 pounds lighter! And, if I gain the weight back, I can go in annually to have it fixed!!

Shuts them up every time!

Well you are right, its a lot of hard work and I never worked so hard before also which is one reason I regained before wls. But the surgery still helps a lot with getting full excess weight off plus forming new habits and gives a better chance for long term success. The way I see it, I just had too big a stomach and had it downsized to fit my needs. If I could have done it without the surgery I would have. So you will have the last laugh when you get to goal and stay there. Be strong. Let these remarks motivate you!! Diane S
