Icelandic Yogurt- Siggis... great stats!
Tried a new yogurt today, and the stats are spectacular on it so thought I would share. It is "skyr", or Icelandic yogurt. Thicker than greek, higher protein, and very tasty. I had the vanilla, which does have a little agave in it. With that though 100 cals and 14g protein. The plain is spectacular stats wise- 100 cal, 3g sugar, 17g protein. This stuff is filling too. Here is a link so you can "see" it. http://siggisdairy.com/product/plain-non-fat/

Skyr is amazing! Very thick and rich.
And for those Canadians on the boards, Superstore (President's Choice) has their own brand of Skyr in stores and it's amazing as well. Flavors are plain, vanilla and strawberry (that I've seen so far).
I use the plain in place of sour cream and it's just as flavorful and rich as full fat sour cream. Or I mix plain with PB2 and a little SF syrup for a lovely dessert.

I never even thought to mix pb2 with yogurt. So. Going. To. Try. This.

You'll be hooked!
I mix PB2 with a bit of water to get the peanut butter consistency and then combine with plain or vanilla skyr (or greek yogurt). It tastes so rich and decadent to me but not super sweet. If I'm feeling like I need more 'sweet' then I add in maybe 1 tsp of SF Torani syrup (I'm partial to vanilla bean) and always a little cinnamon for zing. Enjoy!

I've taken to eating this instead of Dannon L&F most days. It's thick like Oikos Triple Zero but tastes so much better. I also mix in PB2 which somehow makes it even more filling. I find it's a great "meal" before a work out to boost up the protein!
