Good morning all my VSG friends.

I had my surgery on Monday morning. Surgery went well - and I was able to go home on Tuesday evening. the only "major" issue I had was from the pain meds they gave me. Literally right after they gave me the pain meds I threw up - no fun!! So, no more pain meds for me.

I am starting to feel much better over all today. I just keep sipping away trying to make sure I keep all my fluids up. Still sore - but, surprisingly happy with how I feel after going thru surgery.

I don't regret my decision so far - and I don't think I will. I look forward to sitting next to all you amazing people on the losers bench.

Thanks for all your support - I will definitely check in again next week with how I am doing.

Sending much love!!

Glad your surgery went well. I also had mine on Monday. It went well and they even repaired a Hiatal Herna and a Herna at the site of an old lap band but overall it went well. Only problem is the development of heartburn. Hope things continue to go well for you and I look forward to seeing your updates.

Glad to hear your surgery went well too my friend. God was definitely on our side on Monday making sure we got thru surgery safely. I hope your heartburn goes away - that definitely is "no" fun at all.

I also look forward to hearing about your updates. Sending many prayers for a speedy recovery!!!

Much Love

Congrats! You're already on the losers bench ;)

The surgery, while invasive, seems pretty easy for most to physically recover from which is great. Just make sure to do your walking, and if you have the incentive spirometer that as well!

Keep us posted on your progress. IF you dont have any, take a TON of before pictures/measurements now.

I'd suggest a few in door jam. Helps give you perspective as it will never change :)

Glad to hear surgery went well! Unfortunate for you that the pains meds made you sick...happy that you could cope without them.

Wishing you a healthy and speedy recovery.

Take care.
