Yes, completely normal. I still don't get hungry, I had my surgery in August. I have to deal with head hunger because at certain times of day or situations that come up I used to turn to food and now have to remind myself not to.

I had my surgery in August too. It's funny how hunger works because on the weekends I forget to eat and never would if I didn't make myself but during the week is different. The minute I get bored I want to eat. That dang head hunger!!

It can be normal. Especially this close to surgery. Enjoy it while it lasts! :)

Some people feel hunger, some don't. Consider yourself lucky that you don't! It makes it easy to eat only what's necessary for your health, and cut back enough to lose your excess weight.

Be warned though -- almost always, hunger comes back, usually between the six month and one year mark. That's one of the reasons you need to take advatage of this and get the weight off while it's easiest.

Enjoy it while you can!

Its pretty common for people to have no hunger for awhile. Now is the time to establish new eating habits that will help you when hunger eventually returns. Make yourself get your protein and fluids in. It will eventually become second nature. Congrats. Diane S

Very common for recent post ops. Unfortunately, the lack of hunger doesn't always last. Do your very best to take advantage of this "honeymoon" period where you are the most motivated and the weight loss is the easiest it will ever be. Hang in there and good luck.

Yes totally normal, but head hunger is a pita!

For me when the hunger did come back it was no where as strong as it used to be pre op. The only time hunger ever got that strong is when I ate a lot of carbs, usually it was the refined carbs that brought on strong hunger pangs.

Enjoy this feeling for as much as you can.
