For the first time in ages I wore a dress to church yesterday, and actually was comfortable and felt pretty. I have a couple of bags of clothes I got from the clothing exchange at my surgeons office..all random sizes/styles..so I tried some on as I was sorting through them and nearly cried when I could squeeze into a couple size 22 pants and capris. I started in a 32 and I haven't seen a 22 since I was probably 20 years old (I'm 33). After all the stress last week, it just feels good to know I am making progress and loving the changes.

B1 decaf coffee with premier

B2 scrambled egg with cheese

S rest of the premier shake

L leftover buffalo wings

D have some ribeyes marinating!

Water and vitamins good. Walking at the ball field and thinking of buying an elliptical or stationary bike for rainy days??

I started to do chair yoga today. It's.....interesting. I am still learning the breath locks, though.

I designed and put into action a more intensive health plan that involves less eating out. I have cut my working hours so I can prepare food. I'm also adding intellectual and spiritual pursuits for overall health. Do board games count as both? Hey, I'm pretty serious about my nerdage!

IF today until 2pm.

Meals: 30g protein shake, a "hippie" hotdog (all beef, uncured organic) with wasabi mustard and some homemade sauerkraut, and 4oz of salmon with miso and butter sauce later.

I follow a ketogenic diet post-op. I also have a diagnosis of binge eating disorder. Feel free to ask me about either!

It is not that we have so little time but that we lose so much...the life we receive is not short but we make it so; we are not ill provided but use what we have wastefully. -- Seneca, On the Shortness of Life

Chair yoga seems in interesting. I've never had the chance to try it out, but I think it's a great option. My rule of thumb when I start a new exercise thing is to force myself to do 4 classes, since that tends to get me past the "I'm an ungainly whale, look stupid, can't do anything, and am totally clumsy" phase :P

I think the Arkham Horror games would count as both ;)
